Just noticed youre on 24P – cannot tell how it works on the panasonic monitor and when and if, it is converted to 25P or 30P.
This pull down thing might do things – any inputs on this ? -
Hi
Remember always to have some backlite on the object – then you can get rid of the green reflection you will get on your object.A full pixel kamera like the EX will do better than DVCPro HD that have anamorfic compression 960×720.The EX are 1280×720
Tried the other day with my HPX2100 AVCIntra 100(10bit)/1280×720/50p/-1/100 shutter – Premiere CS5 and Ultra key – Fantastic – When the person moved around – as fast as possible – even brushing the hair – you could never see it was green screen. Not a sign of green – not anything that could tell.
Maybe just the lightning that did not mach the background – the biggest challenge with chromakeying. -
You almost answered youself.
I use my EX3 when it have to be light – I use it with an Adaptimax converter and my nikon (Sigma)super macro and tele lenses for special shots. When I have to walk a long way through the forest or in the heatlands, it is so much easier to carry. My 2/3 lenses fit on with a Fujinon adapter but that reduces the quality because of the extra glass.
I feel the EX3 is imposible to work with handheld – so for work with my 2/3 broadcast lenses, handheld and because of the benefit of the 4 audio tracks, I use my PMW-EX350 for all other work. -
Hi
I have both – it depends so much of how you would use it,
Picture quality is very much the same. -

December 25, 2010 at 12:34 pm in reply to: EX1R : shooting rotating objects on turntableYes – use of 1280×720 50P would help – maybe slowdown the rotation of the turnable more and speed op the video in post – if needed.
You could also use a plugin like twixtor to remove jerkiness. -
This has nothing to do with any memory effect if it exist.
Probably one of the cells has collapsed and cannot receive any charge.
One way is discharge the battery and charge again – if it do not work, you might have to put it on a powersupply where you can give it some chock with more power than stated on the battery. This could be with several amp’s more than the battery normally can cope.
BUT beware – this can maybe make the battery explode….
Some batteries can be disasembeld and you can fine the cell that has collapsed and only try to choc this cell.
This has worked for me with both Li-on’s and NICD batteries. -
Seems as if upper and lower field is reversed, Try to “right click” on the clip in timeline and look in “field options” check reverse field order and see if it helps. Cannot tell why someone would leave the project like that and what the problem really is – but I guess you will find the way to the solution there.

I dont think so. My older qosmio only have 2gB ram and it works fine with CS5. My problem now is that I have changed to record all in 720-50p and it is to heavy for my old machine (G30)

Read somewhere that the MPE have to be changed to mercury software if you need to export to DV. I cannot export at all….

Hmm and it did work before. Is there anything it needed to render before and that it does not need to render anymore. I had a strange thing on my workstation – I had to start a new project in CS5.02 ( after updating) and import my CS5 project to make everything work ok …
