Note: the button is also called the “FX bypass” because it can perform either function.

If you are not sure and if you have a Microcenter store near you, I would get their advice on a system that will meet your needs. We have had good luck building two computers, and counting, using the recommendations and parts from Microcenter. If you have trouble with the assembly, they will give you support. If you are not sure about some of the critical steps, such as installing the processor and a heat sink, they will do that for you for a moderate price.

Try redoing the render. This time be absolutely sure that it is activated before you do the render. I’m thinking that you were rushed, and perhaps all did not go as you expected. When I have used stabilization, it has always worked as expected.

How are you obtaining your picture in a picture? Are you using pan/crop or track motion?

It sounds like Vegas does not have the codec for your mp3 file. Which one does it need? I checked an mp3 file on my machine with mediainfo and found that it was coded as MPEG Audio. That file played just fine in SVP 12.

I have to disagree. You need to set preview to Best/Full to get the best results. The copy to clipboard function simply copies what is being displayed on the screen, and Vegas will only display the best image on the screen when you set preview to Best/Full.

I remember way back that it can be tough to uninstall AMD/Nvidia software. In fact, one of the companies had a little known program which would kill everything connected with the card. You might try a thorough uninstall process like this one;

to see if it makes a difference.

Do you mean that you want to double the time that an event is seen, and that a loop would be acceptable? If that is what you mean, a script is unnecessary. Simply drag the right border of an event, and pull it right to cover the desired time period. The item will repeat just as if it was looping.

Look at Asus. Based on John Rofrano’s recommendation, I bought a Asus PA246Q which has a 1920×1200 resolution, and which has performed very well for me. The price is also very reasonable. I’m sure that Asus has more advanced monitors by now if you need something more than the 246.
