    Walter, Rich,

Thanks so much for the information. We do use Quick Books Pro but our bookkeeper was using a word template for some reason and I didn’t think it looked very professional. I am very busy but I’m gonna have to pay more attention to details.

    Thanks again,

    Hi Jeremy,

For my scratch drive I am using a 750 gb internal hard drive and the format on the timeline and footage is pro res 422.

I have a Nvidia Ge force GT 120 in the problem machine and ATI Radeo X1900 XT on the one that’s running smoothly. Do you think AJA will provide an update if that’s the case?

    Gary,

Both machines are running Leopard 10.5.7, Final Cut 6.0.5, AJA 6.0.3, the only difference is Quicktime.
The problem mac (Nehalem) is running 7.6.2 and the older mac is running 7.6. Let me know if I left something out.

    Thanks

    Bob,
I know how to trash my fcp preferences.Don’t know how to trash and re-install AJA. I’d be grateful.

I am using FCP 6.05. I think I am updating the firmware correctly. It just asked me to do it again but it looks like the firmware update I got previously. Could it be I am not updating correctly. I had to google “power cycle” to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

    Thanks Craig,

I am up to date on the latest versions of Flip4mac and Quicktime. It appears to be a Flip4Mac playback issue and I reported it. It’s also a topic on the Telestream forum.
I agree, my client should update quicktime. Would make life a lot easier.

Speaking of sync, when I create a wmv (using Flip4Mac) out of my FCP timeline and play it back on my mac it’s out of sync. But when played back on a PC, which is actually the final destination, it plays perfectly. Is this a similar issue? This client can’t play MPEG-4.
