That is slower than the camera. Ultra does not cut it ?

The 5D similar to the 7D records at about 38.5Mbps , make sure your CF card is UDMA and about 45Mbps, we use Sandisk Extreme 4 or 60Mbps , it may help ?

Use the Clip/Speed Duration by right clipping on the clips and change the 2% of clips manually ?

Hi Nathapushpa,
Ask Dell how to do this , they may do it under warranty if they have installed all the drives ? They did a Raid 0 for me which is recommended by Adobe but your requirement may be better ?

We have been using a RODE Stereo Video Mike Stereo X/Y condenser Microphone for 18 months, sound has been right from soft bird noises to jazz bands.Make sure it is inserted correctly into the body of the 5D Mark II as you will get the mono mike and any image stabilizer noise.

I would not have gone back to 24fps which is 35mm movie speed and may slightly degrade image,not as sharp. It may have been caused by the lens you are using, maybe not image stabilised.If the video was ok in LCD it is not the camera, we use a Canon 5D mark II and in the early days of using this camera there was some pixel lag due to poor panning , it needs to be very smooth indeed hand held.
We have used this camera on extensive overseas work for 18 months and have not experienced this problem again. If you are editing in Premiere Pro with a below average video card there may be some issues there? We use a NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800

No problems with these tapes in a Canon HV 20 used as vtr and definitely no drop outs.But, usually check playback on LCD after shooting is wise precaution, no problems. Other Sony and JVC tapes do show some drop outs usually fixed by using Sony Digital Master PHDVM-63DM worth a try ?

You cannot see level as on a camcorder, no control except to check level before you video. Great sound using a RODE Stereo Video mike X/Y Condensor if left on auto level AGC . used 5D mark II for 18 months, no problems, but, make sure external mike is attached correctly or you will hear sound from Image Stablizer.I do not think AGC works in manual mode, but, is not as good as AGC, no distortion and correct level in jazz band performance.

I noticed similar on clips of jazz band on stage in concert, but, put it down to light hitting dust spot. Appeared undetectable to naked eye, cleaned lens and disappeared. Could be dust spot on sensor, but, hold camera in horizontal position when cleaning happens, no problems re-occurring, camera has been in use for over 18 months, never had to do manual clean .

Vince obviously knows what he is about. As we used the old Premiere Pro 1.5.1 which incorporates the Intermediate Cineform Avi format Ie., HDV , to convert AVCHD other camcorders, and H.264 mov files from a Canon 5D mark II @ 1920 x 1080i we use the old Premiere Elements 4 ( they talk to each other and there is no shift in clip quality ) which easily handles the mov. files and converts the timeline by Export to Movie and adjusting the clips by using the Adobe Media Encoder in-built to Microsoft avi, and noting uncompressed.
The file opens up as an avi file in PP and the quality and editing is first class. We will be going to CS5 soon with a new Xeon 64bit Quad Core Workstation wioth a Nvidia Quadro FX 3800, and will not use this convuluted way of processing the timeline , but, it works. Even to full HD quality on blu-ray.
