I experience the same bug. Move the cursor to the right of the screen, timelines scrolls right by itself, more the left, scrolls left. $50 a month for a creative cloud and we still have to put up with crap like this. Unacceptable. Adobe sucks.

Tried changing the extension to .mpg with no such luck. DLed Mediainfo and it says Video codec used: MPEG-2 Video. Any idea what I can do from here?

Thanks! I actually found the problem. Lion blocks you from accessing your library folder. If you go to finder – Go – and then hold alt… it magically appears 🙂

Well I’m not here to get in an argument with you about the ethics of software piracy, because frankly this isn’t about that. Even though I highly doubt you’ve gone your entire career without using a single transition/sound effect/plugin you didn’t pay for or have permission to use. Get off your high horse my friend.

Look, I simply want to know how to get my effects from one computer’s FCP to another so I don’t have to waste my time finding the same one’s online and installing each one separately. If you don’t want to give me that info than please step aside.

You sound like you make a living selling these things for $100 a pop. Please just tell me how to move them from one system to another. Some of them are home made and not available for purchase anywhere. I am not going to waste my time hunting these down online. I don’t have time for that.

Agreed but when I open try to load the keyboard setting through final cut it opens a window for me to browse for the save file. The default location is opens up to is a file called Keyboard Layout. But I cannot seem to locate this folder when I look using finder. It’s just no where to be found. Even if I do a spotlight search it’s as if the entire folder doesn’t even exist.

What is the path of folders one would usually follow to get to final cut pro data?
