You have more real estate with two 19″ vs one 24″, if you wanted to extend the time line across two 19″s it would be about 29″ across a 24″ it would be about 22″, the 24″ is biger vertically but not by much, the pixel pitch is .29 on a 19 and .27 on a 24, personally I would go with two 20″ WS or two 22″ WS, it would depend on space available

Sounds like you have some letterboxed 4:3 footage and other footage thats anamorphic.

Is the Premiere CS3 you have loaded a tryout version?
Also you only list one hard drive, are you loading premiere into a separate partition by any chance?
the best way to run premiere is with a minimum of two drives, three is recommended, one medium size drive for the OS, APPs, and paging file, a large drive for video source files, a third drive for previews, cache files, audio files, etc. -

Once Adobe certifies something it seems to stay that way till another upgrade comes out even if its years, like the recommended video cards for Ppro 2, I just set a restore point and try whatever I’m going to use. 🙂

Last time I checked the Intensity site there was no remarks saying it supported CS3 only Ppro 2.

Did you go into Options and set the Brand and Model of the camcorder you are using.

You have to clarify a few things, Where is the delay? when you are playing internally using Ppro monitors, or externally going through the intensity, if externally, where are you monitoring the sound? on the external device or using computer sound while playing back the video externally through the Intensity, also is it component or HDMI?
