I found one way to work around, and that was to open the tiff-file in PS and save it as .eps

The Splash tutorial with the Mr Mercury effect was a really good link, and I would definetly try this out. The copy paste solution for the path was really great and was exactly what I was looking for saving a lot of time, and it couldn’t be done with the Stroke or the Write-on effect!
It is also a good thing to create extra mask for troublesome letters, but in my case it was more than just this word, it was several more, but now I would only mask out the troubled areas.
