  • Batch Capture – Change settings after first logged.

    Hi Dear Friends

My problem is that I had a collegue to log my clips for batch capture. By a mistake somewhere, he managed to change the batch capture settings from CAPTURE VIDEO AND AUDIO to just CAPTURE AUDIO when he logged the clips. So when I batch capture I only get the audio, not both.

When I later on tries to change the setting back to both VIDEO and AUDIO it is not possible. The batch capture settings box has greyed out this option. I can only change the in/oout timecode and name. It is close to 100 clips, so I realy would like to find a workaround so I do not need to log all the clips one more time.

Any clever soul out there who knows the answer?

    Thanks & Stay creativ!
    Bjorn 🙂

Did you try moving your files on your computer hard drive before opening Premiere. Then when it asks you where they are, work with them “offline”. Change your settings to audio and video and try capturing them again. Not sure if this will work but it might be worth a try.
If it does, you can simply delete the moved files.

Bjorn I have found the answer you’ve been looking for.
    Goto…Project>Export Batch List
    Goto…Project>Import Batch List
Now all your newly imported batch files will be reset to audio and video capture!

Jon Barrie! You are a the man! You saved my day (and weekend)! Problem solved! It turned out to be just as you said! Export and import and batch capture settings changed back to both audio and video.

Thank you very, very, very much! I would never found this solution myself. You saved me ALOT of work!

I have trouble expressing my thankfulness. :)Once again, THANK YOU!
