Question? What do you want the Human partical to do?

Thanks it was fun to make. 🙂

To get the human you want I think you will need to make it yourself.
If I were to do it I would film the action against a Chroma key background then bring it in to my editing software key out the background, export to images and import those images in to PI as a particle, this gives you exactly the action you need. The chances of you finding just the right action sequence for your needs I think are slim to none.

Also while there are extremely life like 3D models they are expensive and nothing works as well as the real thing.

    massuss,

Sometimes, they say I’m just not quite right. I think this is one of those times. 🙂
    Here’s a humaniod emitter… sort of, it’s another big one. 🙁 7.5Mb
Just replace my animated (human) partical with your own.

    Chrissi,

Ahh… you mean Chroma key not key framing. 🙂

The ability to choose a color to make transparent, yes another program like After Effects would be better, some NLEs will allow you to key out a particular color so you may already be able to accomplish this.

    Chrissi,

Open up the manual in PI SE or PI3 go to Tutorial 2 select “The Graph Window” and read through the next few steps. I think you will find what you need there.

Open the propeties dialog.(For the emitter you wish to adjust.)
Click on the Particles tab. (Top)
Click on the Behavior tab. (Just below the partical preview window)
Select Specify under Partical Angle. (an option setting opens just to the right)
Use it to change the angle of the emitter.

I am new to PI and this is my first attempt making/modifying an emitter.
So any hints and or suggestions are welcome.
Since the particles are animated it is quite large at just under 3Mb.
It contains both American style and European style footballs.
