I see why I am rendering to AVI and I need to render to an image say png format to use those options.
I went back and rewatched some of your DVD. 😉

This identifies my problem I do not know and can not find the afore mentioned “Render Options.”
I just rendered a test and did not see that option, I also looked in the Preferences and Project Settings.
Where do I find it?

I went in frame by frame and adjusted the bolts so there are no dead ends in mid strike.

Cinematographers bring Shadow to Light

One thing I just thought of I deliberately had the lighting bolts coming from the top of the particle image as if they started off frame. I was thinking they would always be coming from something like a cloud or from behind a structure or other obstruction or the emitter would over lap the top of the stage so it would not be noticed.
Should I start the bolt inside of the top as well, would that be better?
