The UX90 has a 1″ sensor and a 15x lens. With proper lighting and camera control you will be able to achieve nice bokek and shallow depth of field.

Have been shooting with DVX-200 for 1.5 years
No problems, love it
Vegas should work, as it did with previous cameras
I use FCP and Adobe

Yes, the DVX200 will also shoot in HD
As far as work flow, I use FCPX, and legacy FCP 7
No issues in importing 4K.
Just make sure your FCP is current and you might need to upgrade your MAc. I did, but it was 5 years old

What NLE are you using?
If Adobe make sure you import footage using Media Browser. This is a fat 32 issue and sometimes Adobe has an issue

Make sure both cards are the same. Class and speed.
If you have relay set in the record function then it should work
