Hi,

basically it was a driver issue with my graphics card. Make sure you have the latest drivers installed and it should work fine. Some graphics cards are more tempromental than others. There is a list somewhere.

Hi i trancoded it in MC5 (1/4 debayer) from the original metadata that is stored on my hard drive. Is that what you mean?

Not sure what you mean. Im a reletive newbie. I transcoded teh red footage to dn 185 the thing is im on a pc and want to grade on a mac so i really dont know how to do it, i usually use FCP. Could you explain a bit more to me please.

Just 1 more question if you dont mind Once i transcode my footage to quater/half do i have to relink before i export it to a viewing format ie HDCAM or H264?

Im not sure i understand what you mean please could you elaborate? I still dont understand what re linking is and what it is for?
Basically its a 10 minute film but i understand you have to transcode first to make editing smoother and the re link the footage. Is this the case? Also why is this reqiured?
