    Dear Walter,

Biscardi Creative Media looks like a great, I think I have the same click board floor as you do in your “Wally World” edit bay, and the kitchen looks amazing.

    moving on.

We were not going for a film look, the project will live on the web at 15fps, 30fps is a good starting point to get down to 15fps.

I understand that the DVCPRO HD VTR records at a fixed 60fps (give that DVCPRO HD is not a variable bit rate format)

My question is if you want 30fps or 24fps for that matter, does a VariCam record 60fps of action at all times?
i.e.: you can go frame by frame and each one changes
then in FCP use the DVCPRO HD Frame Rate Converter to extract 30fps?

    or

does it take a 30fps stream and put it into a 60fps container by adding duplicate frames, as I sad before, this is what the Panasonic site suggests, however; this is my first run with the thing, so I am not sure if I brought the tapes in at the wrong FPS or if it was in fact shot at the wrong FPS.

    Thank you and Good day.
