  • Q: How to apply Global Change / Adjustment Layer / “Look”

Posted by Benji Brucker on May 8, 2012 at 1:23 am

    Hello,

I am looking for a way to apply a ‘global’ change to a sequence, like an adjustment layer in AfterEffects or a ‘Look’ from MagicBullet looks.

i know i can save a grade into a memory slot and go through my edit and load my saved grade by hand on to each shot, but that takes a bit of time on longer edits.

i played around with group my edit but could not apply a single grade node to an entire group.

Thank you for reading this over and have a great day.

In the node graph you can move to the track tab.

Anything added in this node graph will persist across all shots in that timeline. It won’t effect any clips on other timelines either.

This is what I use to apply something across an entire episode, such as a saturation increase or similar.

    Hope this helped
