Haha thats what I’ve been doing in the meantime, I am primarily a AE animator and I have a script for ae that will open my project preset every time AE opens, and I was hoping something like that was available here…i guess its just laziness on my part, but I call it efficiency 🙂

I’ve already done some searching, if there are so many posts on the subject can you link me to one? honestly I’ve searched for ripping dvd menus and converting dvd menus to quicktime movies and converting dvd menus and other combinations of the three above and can’t find the right solution…

  • Nevermind, I got it working but now I have a new issue…I sent a job to net render and on one machine it runs great, but the other it trys to render one frame and then stops…any ideas why?

got it looking perfect! here’s what I did:

    1) turned the falloff from box to linear…
    2) played with the position, learning the further it is in negative z space, the more spread out the clones become…
    3) also discovered that if you rotate the random effector on y axis and then move in z space, it will add the clones in from left to right (or right to left depending on how the effector is turned)…

thanks so much for your help again 🙂

totally makes sense, but my final question is way more basic/beginner than that…I totally understand dragging and dropping any object into the xpresso window will add a node, but how do I add an individual property of a node in (i.e. I can get the material into the xpresso editor, but I can’t figure out how to get the “glow radius” property into that material into the editor to tie to another node)…it’s a noob question but the help is very much appreciated :)…

Ok quick noob follow up: how do I get the glow brightness property to show up? Do I drag in the material, or the object? Thanks for the help on this 🙂
