excuse me for the double post but couldn’t find an edit button,
i emulated the expression by copy pasting a lot of keyframes and i now have the desired effect without expressions. However i’m still curious about how it would have been done with expressions. -

didn’t get it to work when i did what was said in the other post, however because you mentioned the different types of keyframes i did get it to fix, turned out keyframe interpolation didn’t have lineair setting, i probably accidently changed it. thanks for the help!
