Chris, thanks for the info on PhotoZoomPro. Does anyone have an opinion of this program compared
to Stagetools for moving stills around? Its the rendering time, especially at the rough cut stage when
every edit is still so fluid that is making me crazy.

Buying another hard drive seems extreme…but renaming FCP 4.5 is doable. So when I do the upgrade, as long as
I have the serial number, 5 will install even if I’ve renamed the program?

I know its just that I have compressor as a program on my computer it just won’t launch.
I suppose I will have to figure out a way to reload that software.

No I can’t launch Compressor at all, even at the finder level. I was hoping to cusom install just
Compressor from the FCP software, but I don’t think I can. And I’m too superstitious to reload
the whole program in the middle of a job if I don’t absolutely have to.

Thanks, Matte, I’ve been waiting for someone to tease me about that. For some reason, after
months of reading these posts I only just absorbed that after I hit send. But I couldn’t find the
answers to my questions there. And hey, Chris, thanks for reminding me about Toast! I downloaded
it yesterday and its perfect for what I need.

Thanks John; I didn’t realize it was an easy settings option. Maybe if I had memorized the book cover to cover….

Me again. I found a solution but is it a solution or a work around? I made my sequence frame size 320×240
to match the source material. Is there another solution or did I find the only one?
    Thanks again, Barbara
