I just talked with a friend of mine, and he recommended I switch the order of effects to have the Roughen Edge” before the puppet pin. That works pretty well for most of it. He also pointed me to this: https://aescripts.com/smart-precomposer/ to precompose the shape layers.

If you watch those, and get a feel for how they work ya’ might be able to adjust some of the settings to get them close to what you want.

For the other effects, you might try Googling “After Effects particles” and “After Effects rumble.” I noticed a couple of hits that might be close to what you might want.
