Problem is i don’t have choice with the hyperdeck. My choices are Uncompressed Quicktime, Apple Prores 422 and DNxHD.I did not try the first one yet.

Sorry what you mean about “flavour” ? I’m french :s It’s in packed in Quicktime…

Thanks for your help… But can you explain me why the DNxHD looks bader than the H.264 since it is less comrpessed ?

Just to let you know .. i took the decision to install the new CC version of premiere and ae. I will tell you if this working as soon as it is installed. I have another question for you.. promiss it will be the last one ! I did some 5DmkIII trials today shooting in H.264 and Dnxh HD via Hyperdeck shuttle 2. I was surprised cause the dnxhd images looked bader the h.264 : more noise, green color etc.. The DnxHD is supposed to have more color informations doesn’t it ? Thats why i don’t understand !

Its working on AE cs6 ( dont have Premiere Pro Cs6) but this is Still not working on Cs5… Do you have an idea ?!

I can read dnx with QuickTime so yes i think this is installed well… Do you have an another way to check If this well installed ?

Yes i did… Many Times !
I instalĺ and reinstall it .. I can export in dnx but when i try to put footages on the timeline it does not work. Also dnx does not appear in the preset when i creat a new séquence !

Hey,

Sorry to contact you again about this issue almost one year after the last post, but i just get the hyper deck shuttle 2. Its working with a canon 5d mk III. As you im getting DnxHD files and i cant import them in premiere pro CS5.5 even after the codec installation from Avid… Did you find a solution ? It will help me a lot ….
