for example when i have some human that come toward (with with black background option
in poser;poser have not any option like alpha channel)
i have set a emmiter like explosion behind them
corner shape of those human isnot very smooth
and overall final output donot satisfy me
i see that corner shapes black (color of background)

hi
you can try Delirium effects, it have a plugin like gunshot
or you can try particle illusion 3.01a
an drender it with alpha channel ,import them in after effects.
