create 3d turn page like book
hi
how i can create 3d turn page in after effects
turn page effects is only in 2d
and when turn pages ,layer get out from screen
i want to turn page in that screen and page go to above last page
i want it flexible
not flat page
is after effects do this task -

Hi Arash,
a layer in AE always stays flat, even if it’s 3d, so there’s no way to really make it curve in 3 dimensions.
There are plugins that render a 3d look onto those flat layers using the comp camera and lighting etc.
I suppose you could ask this question on the zaxwerks forum, they make 3d plugins for after effects, but I’m not up-to-speed on any of them.

Serge used to have a nice little book opening at his site, but I don’t see it, probably cleaned out during spring cleaning.
Here is an earlier post refering to it.

How about FreeForm? Just a thought.

Boris Continuum Complete has a nice page turn with plenty of options,
shadows, etc. Very realistic, but be prepared for a long render. I believe
there is a fully functioning demo on their website.Brett
