Yes I’m using the QuickTime Animation codec. With QuickTime 7.1. Ironicly After Effects will render QT files larger than 4 gigs but I need to render directly from P.Pro.

    Hey Steve.

    Were you using DSFMgr0.5?

I tryed selecting the Adobe Encoder in both DirectShow Filters, & under the Video Compresors settings but the program wouldn’t let me slide anything.

Ok Tim this is what I did. 1) I downloaded & ran DSFMgr. 2) Got confused. I see quite a few compresors for Mpeg 2. 3) I double clicked on the Main Concept (Adobe 2) MPEG Video Encoder and slid he slider from “do not use” to “prefered” then hit “start new merit”. 4) I then did the same for The Mpeg Decoder & closed the program. 5) Started AE 7 & got the same error.

What am I doing wrong? I have never worked with this program before.

    Thanks
