  • Problems Rendering in Quick Time Pro.

Whenever I render a project using the QuickTime Pro codec and the resulting file is 4gigs or larger I get an error message. I render files which turn out to be 4gigs and larger all the time. This only happens with Quick Time. Any ideas haw I can remedy this?

Windows does not support files larger than 4 GB unless they are “Open-DML”. You did not say which codec you used but the Animation and DV codecs are Open-DML.

Yes I’m using the QuickTime Animation codec. With QuickTime 7.1. Ironicly After Effects will render QT files larger than 4 gigs but I need to render directly from P.Pro.
