I guess the problem is this:

If I apply say “Brightness/Contrast” to my image, I need to export it because the roto at the “layer” level doesn’t recognize the effect, I need to export it with the effect baked in.

You’re saying you do this then reapply the effect but reverse it?

I’m not disconnecting the drives. I eject them, then power them down.

I’m working on a iMac Pro 64gb ram, 1tb, 10 core

And I have about 4 Lacie Thunderbolt drives plugged in.

I wasn’t sure if there was a quick workaround or not but I’ll simply cut a clean plate of the background and fix it that way I guess.

I guess the problem is this. I have a LOT of speed changes and I’m using Twixtor in Premiere in addition to zooms, position and opacity changes. The Zoom position stuff will translate to DaVinci but the Twixtor stuff isn’t compatible so then would the BEST thing to do, is export the RAW using Davinci to a high res file type, make the twixtor speed changes in Premiere then export again to the same high res format then bring it all into Davinci?

If that makes sense, what settings for an high res file format would you suggest? Pro Res 4444xq?

It’s a short film that will go to festivals and probably end up online at some point. It’s mostly shot in 4K and final output to HD

Is there a way to just lock a moving frames position and have it not move? Seems simple

I did not use warp stabilizer, just “stabilize motion” and it’s just the position that is moving.
