Project needs to re-link and re-render media EVERY TIME I open it.
Not sure what’s going on, but Premiere asks to re-link media and needs re-render my sequence every time I open up the project.
I think it may have to do with the external disks but I’m not sure of a solution to this problem.
Any ideas?

how about more info? What types of disks are you working with? what’s your system specs?

I’m working on a iMac Pro 64gb ram, 1tb, 10 core
And I have about 4 Lacie Thunderbolt drives plugged in.

Are you disconnecting any of these external drives in between? For example, to work on a different project before return to the one in question.

I’m not disconnecting the drives. I eject them, then power them down.

how about start a new project and then import the old project into it?
