  • Hi Rob,

thank you for the prompt reply and sorry for getting your name wrong!

If I may, I’d like to try to explain my problem. The “fade to black” at the end of my menu background movie only lasts a second. Then there is another second before the background movie begins again at the designated loop point. It’s during that brief gap that I’d like my button highlights to turn off also. It’s just an aesthetic thing!
But my button highlights always stay on even during that gap from the end of the menu movie until the loop point is again started. So I end up with a momentarily black screen with just the highlights still on.

On movie/music dvds that I buy, the button highlights always turn off at the end of the menu cycle and then back on as the menu begins again.

I’ve read through lots of the DVD Architect “Button” and “Highlights” sections but am obviously missing something. Any help would be appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    Anthony

  • Hi Robbe,

    I’m using DVD Architect 4.
Is there anyway to make a menu button highlight (I use “UNDERLINE”)switch off/fade out when the menu cycle ends and the screen fades to black momentarily before the menu begins to play again from the loop point? I’ve tried to work around this but it seems the highlights just cannot be be keyframed in the “CROP and ADJUST” menu.
I cannot understand why Sony don’t add this feature to DVD Architect.

    Thanks!

    Anthony

Thank you, Mike. Rendering the menu background media in progressive scan before adding it to DVD Architect worked fine.
