I’m using Vegas Pro 8 and Dvd architect 4.5. When I burn a dvd I notice that the background media on the menu is very jagged. This occurs if the background media is an Mpeg. It does not occur if the background media is a still image. All other parts of the dvd – introductory media and main film – look fine. It’s just the menu background that looks terrible. This problem is driving me crazy! All parts of the dvd are rendered correctly from Vegas and look ok in DVD Architect preview. Anyone know the solution to this please???
    Thanks!

Try rendering your menu media in progressive instead of interlaced ad see if that helps.

Thank you, Mike. Rendering the menu background media in progressive scan before adding it to DVD Architect worked fine.

    You’re welcome Anthony.
I’m very glad to hear that it worked.
