    Rendering as in making preview files to play timeline in real time is Non-destructive.
    Exporting that timeline is a whole different matter.

    Convert with Handbrake and also set it to constant framerate and try again.

    Mixing those two has always been a pain.
    Going up or down depends on which country you live in.

  • Dont mess with the fields. PAL dv is LOWER.
    DV avi files are about 13 gig an hour which is the normal size. (get a larger disk)
    If you want to make dv footage suitable for Youtube.
    Make sure you have a matching sequence (there is a DV preset for this).
    Export to H.265/H.264/mp4 (progessive) making the framesize 788×576 par 1.0 en framerate 25 fps. (widescreen is 1050×576)
