My advice is to go straight to mpeg2-dvd instead of using prores or some other lossy codec, to avoid an unnecessary encoding step (and quality loss). Lossless codec files such as Lagarith are usually huge.
Import into Encore, make menu and burn or make an iso and burn with ImgBurn or CDburnerXP.
On a side note one cannot export to prores on a windows machine.

No dvd is mpeg2, you cannot use any other format.
Next step would be: get a better computer.

If the audio ends up in the ‘wrong” track: hold down the mouse and shift and pull the audio down to the desired track.

  • CS4 was not designed to run on Sierra but rather Tiger or Leopard nor handle gopro footage.
Dont be surprised if you run into glitches (its not a bug).
Updating to CC is your best bet.

  • What do you want your end product to be. That determines the output.
    DVD, pc, youtube?

You have posted your question in the Premiere Pro forum.
A mod might move it to the correct forum (Panasonic forum).

  • Actually they are Duplicate Frame Markers.
You can turn them off under the wrench in the timeline.
