Converting 4:3 to 16:9 results in qualityloss.
Import your 4:3 project into a 16:9 project and adjust with scale.

Make your stills the same size as your project settings. When doing panning and zooming make them twice the project size.

Best is to finish in Pro2 and start fresh in CS4, but you can try importing Pro2 project into CS4.

A little bit of nitpicking: fat32 is 4 gig.
It is very easy to change fat32 to ntfs.
