Into what did you convert: resolution/codec?
You have to choose a preset that matches your footage .
If there is no preset then you make it yourself.

Cineform comes with its own presets.
Or you can make a custom preset that matches the footage.

CS4 does not handle H.264 in a mov wrapper very well.
I would consider NeoScene. Cineform will convert the files into HD avi’s and are visual lossless.

Use the scroll wheel of your mouse, at least that is how its done in CS5.5. Not sure about CS4. I guess it would be the same.

If you mean the project window: yes
You will find that option in the panel menu.
