The Effects window has a search box: type in Shadow which will give you Drop Shadow.
Type in crop which will give you the Crop effect.

Cutting multiple clips in one go: ctrl+shift+K

Cutting a title will not give you new title.
Alt dragging a title in the timeline will make a new title. This one you can edit without altering the other one.

I would set up a SD sequence and drop everything into that. Just scale the HD down.
Export to mpeg2-dvd.
Bring that into Encore, make menu and burn.

The Warp Stabilizer can do wonders it cannot perform miracles.
In other words its not suited for every shot.
If your footage is cropped it means the motion is too much for normal stabilization.
Because its a walk through that is part of the problem.
Don’t make shots with the assumption you can fix it in post.

If you download the latest gopro studio you will see it now has a fisheye correction feature.

VLC player should handle mxf files just fine.
I use canon mxf files.

Trashing your preferences might help.
Hold alt+shift while starting Premiere up until welcome screen.
