  • Working with .MXF files ?

Posted by Soumendra Jena on October 10, 2013 at 6:36 am

One of our client has provided us around 50 .MXF files from his videographer and we are new to MXF format files.

We tried opening it on our VLC player, but the files dont play.

What player do you use for MXF files ?

When we import it to Premiere Pro, and preview the files there, it shows with a vertical red green yellow overlay lines on the video. How do we remove them ?

    Probably a graphics card issue.

When you have a Nvidia go to the Nvidia Control Panel, set the 3D application settings to “Let the 3D application decide”.

    That should do the trick.

    AMD is simular.

VLC player should handle mxf files just fine.
