After googling a bit i found out about the MacOs Lion´s hidden library folder. Then I found the preference files, trashed them and after also trashing Color preferences and restarting my system, the sending to Color finally works 🙂
Did everyone know about the hidden folder? Well now I know…

Here is a problem; I really can´t find the preference files on my HD!
I go in the library folder > preferences > but there is no “com.apple.FinalCutPro.plst” nor is there a “Final Cut Pro User data” folder that normally store the prefs and cache files…
How can this be? I have also tried various methods of searching these on my HD, without result and my problem with color is still unsolved. Both apps seem to run ok apart.

Thank you for your reply. I already tried to go via XML but it too will not open in Color.
I will try to trash the prefs. It has worked before for various problems.

How did you solve this?
I´m also having problems with “send to color”
The option is there when I right click my sequence but then I´m only able to open a new project in Color and my sequence will not transfer.

Hi Andreas,
I have the problem behind me. I think deleting some “user data files” did the trick though I´m not sure. We tried all kinds.

I just encountered the same problem as I started my computer today. I have worked for 6 weeks on this projects and I devastated. My project is saved on an external volume but the autosaves are on the internal drive. None will open. Did you find a solution to your problems? Please let me know because I´m in trouble.

Thanks Scarab,
I had downloaded the latest driver for the card and it was working for my display and for output to deck but when I tried digitizing i got kernel panic every time. I uninstalled and reinstalled the KONA driver trashed some preference files and changed a few configurations and got it to work. I´m not sure what did it but its working now. 😉
… just had to remap my keyboard settings after trashing the prefs.
