In situations like this its best to shoot a clean plate without the subject first, then another with the subject in. Obviously you will need some kind of rig for the camera that can record the movement of the camera and replicate it for this. You’ll need a load more markers for the walls and floor. Also, make sure to white balance the camera before shooting, this will make sure the footage is well lit and balanced so you won’t need to use any post effects to make the markers show up. You could make this work with Mocha but it would be a bit like pulling teeth 🙁

Make sure you set your disk cache to a separate hard drive from your system one. Best to use an external drive for caches. Also, make sure you have have plenty of free disk space both on the system drive and your disk cache drive. Allocate plenty of space to your disk cache but make sure you empty it regularly to keep it running smoothly.

Parent it to the layer with the shift key held down to make it jump to the Layer’s position/ roatation etc

Just to add to the suggestion above. You can do this without duplicating the layers or shapes. Just create your repeated shapes, choose any color. Adjust either the Start Opacity or End Opacity to 0, leave the other at 100, so that they range from completely opaque to completely solid.
Then Apply colorama. In the Input Method section, choose Alpha in the Get Phase From menu. Now a full color spectrum will be applied to your shapes. To gain more control and to stop the interpolation of colors do the following
Open the Output cycle settings. Deselect the Interpolate checkbox. Then simply add as many colors to the Output Cycle that you need and change the colours to whatever you want them to be. Colours can be animated by animating the Output Cycle.

In cinema 4D, You can set your duration in the project settings. So just trim the start of the project to the point where you want it to start, after the material has fallen. You may need to then increase the duration at the end of the animation.

Rubber hose creates expressions so they may override any expressions that you have already applied.
Another idea could be to remove the stroke and instead to add a stroke after Rubberhose has been applied so that it doesn’t distort, try adding the Cartoon effect. Remove the Fill properties but adjust the Edge properties to add a new edge to your shapes.
