Hi there,
You can also use this technique to create some additional time between “actions” in the timeline. This will split the layers so that you can drag each half apart, taking all the keyframes etc with it and leaving time in between the halves. I’ve used this technique several times when I’ve had very complex animation and dragging al the keyframes would have been labor-intensive.
1. Move to the beginning of the place where the space needs to be added.
2. Select all the layers you want to “add space between”.
3. Split the layers by going to Edit > Split Layer
4. Move the Time Marker ahead by the amount of time you wish to add.
5. Select the End section of each layer you want to move.
6. Either drag them so that the in point lines up with the TimeMarker or hit the [ key to move the In point to the TM.
