No I didn’t. But I tried different things, including replacing the old target with a new one. Nothing worked. Why can’t I re-apply the tracker?

I was talking about working in the large icon view in the bins. Not on the timeline. Sometimes, it leaves a gap between clips.

Thanks. That particular link didn’t work, but it did give me the idea to do a search by the actual file name: eos5d2124.dmg . And in case anyone is interested, this seems to be the only link on the web that works:

Nothing defective. I shot a feature film with the old firmware, which allowed for a frame rate of 30fps. The new firmware only allows 29.97. I need to shoot some new scenes and would like to match the old footage. Don’t want to convert just yet. I found version 1.1.0, but if anyone has 1.2.4 please let me know. Thanks.

Thanks, Jeremy! Your solution worked perfectly! I’m in perfect sync now! Good job!

You’re right, Bouke. The audio is not 48K, but 44.1K. What should I do now?

I recorded the sound externally with a double system. The footage was saved on a drive, and was converted to ProRes. I didn’t change the frame rate, left it at 30fps. The external audio slips out of sync by about 1 minute.

I slowed down the audio to approximately 99.94% (depending on the clip), and it stays in sync. The pitch changes by a minuscule amount (almost imperceptible). I can go this route, but eventually I’ll have to convert to 29.97, and I’m not sure what problems slowing down the audio will create when I convert.

    And why is that?

I’ve searched the forum and I’ve found stuff on 5d and ProRes, but not specifically the answer to my question, which involves film transfer as the final product. If someone could answer my question here it would be greatly appreciated.
