You should charge for the extra vo’s etc no matter what. The fact that is showing in other states is really a case of what your original contract said. If you have not covered it DON’T charge for it as it could give the wrong impression to the client that you are gouging.

When you say graphics do you mean like titling or a lower third?

Not wanting to put to fine an edge on things, and in danger of sounding like a broken record Time Machine as a lone backup is not such a hot idea. TM is good at doing the daily backups so that one can recover files. However one should have a separate bootable back of your computer using Carbon Cloner or Super Duper ..

    End of Nag:)

Tapeless, makes the most sense as you can shorten the time to DVD production. My suggestion would be to find a camera that goes straight to DVD, there are quite a few options.

Off the topic but on the topic. At the end of the day will you make money ?

  • The easy way to do this is to shoot the President live. Then insert the slides into the video, that way you can be assured that the viewer sees the information clearly and in detail. Big plus it’s also the cheapest.

My favorite around here with everyone is quite simple and covers many of the above..
Presumption is the mother of all screw ups..

How may times have I heard from the latest mistake? ” But I thought ( fill in blank) had done ( fill in blank).

Budget would be the first question. The second would this be a locked off shot or a camera man following the action?

Why not lay it down to good old tape . I would be hesitant to do live play back from a computer.. Sometimes the old ways are best 🙂

I saw this thread and thought it was about knocking over bovines. Sad to say it’s only about giving leaders money.

    Damn:)
