We just finished a :30 sec TV spot for a big company. They really liked
it and now want to run it in 7 states. We have to customize some
graphics and some VO on each spot for each state. Do I just charge them
for production time, or charge a bit more because it is running in
all those states? I don’t want to rip my client, but I don’t want
to short change all our hard work either. What’s fair?
    Thanks so much.

    Best regards,

You should charge for the extra vo’s etc no matter what. The fact that is showing in other states is really a case of what your original contract said. If you have not covered it DON’T charge for it as it could give the wrong impression to the client that you are gouging.
