720p25 is supported in 5.1 but not 720p50

Wow! There’s a few things I’d rather they address before that!

Better low light performance – less barrel and pincushion on the lens – menu navigation buttons in a logical layout – higher resolution lcds – overcranking in all codecs – focus assist for SD . . .

Bigger P2 cards . . .

But then I don’t understand the craze for sticking custom glass on the end of the thing anyway, so maybe I’m missing something?

Incidentally, my media’s on a 1TB G-Raid – presumably that’ll run 720p25 OK on a Quad with 8GB RAM?

What he actually said is:
“Vid Rate: 25fps and compressor: DVCPRO HD 720p50”

Is just the frame rate the critical bit then?
Which bit’s the Codec? Surely that’s DVCPRO HD 720p50?

Hmmm!

Isn’t the problem more likely that FCP doesn’t support 720p50?
I’m new to the HVX200 and have just discovered there’s no FCP support for 720p50 – which is the codec you get if you do any Interval footage.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.
