you’ll need someone better with expressions than me, but I would imagine yes, there will be a way to ‘link’ the angle of the path to the patented item. You might be better creating a ‘Look at’ null and linking the nulls pos to the item’s rotation, again, you’ll need someone smarter than me! That option gives you more flexibility I think.

if I understand correctly, I may not, but what you want to do is select geo, press ‘L’, which activates pivot mode, then either use the gizmo or the co-ordinates manager to alter the pivots transforms. Then press ‘L’ again to turn off pivot mode. Then freeze transforms after.

If you have an animated path, selected the path and run the ‘Nulls follow points’ command. If you want to use the nulls to animate the path, select un-animated path and run the ‘Points follows null’ command. Either way, you get a null per point, that you can parent stuff to.
(command is found in the windows drop down on the top bar)

if it is made with a shape layer ‘line’, you can use the points to nulls command to have nulls follow the vertex’s’s of your line, then parent the face to the relevant null.

I didn’t download project yet but to get effector to work with geo, you either change deformer tab option to either points or polys, or, get it into the mograph module by using a cloner or a fracture object

Try Distort> Displacement map, use a greyscale image to drive the displacement (make a pre-comp of a black solid with a white blurred/feathered shape when you want waves) add-in noises, etc to randomize it/ make it wavey.

what Tero said, the screen will have something like a switcher unit that accepts the video signal. This will expect a source with a certain pixel dimension video (whoever maintains the screen will know). This is usually something like 1024 x 576, 1920×1080, etc. They may even have a template for you to fit to, as the aspect of the screen is non-standard so you kind of overlay a standard 16:9 image over the top (or similar).
