Import them as is – then use X’s “batch rename” functions to name them as you choose.

I’ll do subtitles for a movie trailer for Warner Bros representative. This is a problem because he did not know how to do this (I mean the z-depth).
Z-depth apparently somehow changed with the change of frame (close / wide).
The problem is how much.—

Black Magic just released a 9.2 Beta that works with FCPX 10.0.3 output is only NTSC SD but if you activate A/V mode in the “Window” Menu it works with a little frame skipping. Still beta though
