    Hi,

    Thanks for the answer…but:

The transition back to the camcorder – is of secondary importance.
But fast rendering – namelly keeping unedited video as-is – is important.

I would settle for achieving at least this goal….
I have sone vegas pro 8 installed. Could you please recommend me some project + camera settings, that will prevent Sony Vegas from re-rendering?

    Thanks,
    Andrey.

    Hi,

I would like to edit my HF100 footage (glue clips together, add transitions, etc..
and render the result into exactly the same format that the camera shot in.

I want to do it in such a way, that the UNEDITED VIDEO WOULDN’T BE RECOMPRESSED!
The output should be playable by the camera….

Any idea which editing software can help me with this?

    Thanks,
    Andrey.

    Hi,

I am too starting to work with HF100, and sony vegas pro 8a.
I can do the editing fine, but my question concerns rendering.

I want to be able to render into exactly the same format that my camera shoots in,
so that the rendering of UNMODIFIED footage will be just a direct file copy….
    (and really fast as such).

    How do i do that?

    Thanks,
    Andrey.
