Guess not all of us will get that upgrade price. Your link shows $150 but when I add it to my cart it is $250 even though I tried two previous serial numbers(purchased 5 & 6).

Edit: nvm, tried the link again but just made sure to copy my key from another tab instead of navigating to My Software then clicking Back. Got the $149 upgrade price. Thanks for the link.

    Hello All,

Just wanted to update you that I ordered Digital Juice’s Sound FX Library v1 and v2. I would have probably ordered both versions down the line so might as well get the promo pricing. It just seemd DJ was a better deal. We’ll see how it turns out. All I know is the few videos I’ve done in the past all seemed to be missing some element and I hope to ‘fill’ that aspect with sound.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Great post Tim. I hope Sony looks at this forum regularly. We may need to email them a copy of your post on a monthly basis to keep some things in mind for Vegas 7. And yes, the last couple projects I ended up going back to Vegas to finish them in a timely manner. Unfortunately I learned Vegas first and am currently learning Avid Xpress HD and my AMD system does not seem to like playing the timeline in real time even without effects. I’ve gotten so many errors, I’ve decided I will learn it when I build a new dual-core Intel system.

I am by no means a professional editor but I have discovered a few things compared to Avid Xpress, from the little time I used that program like adding effects to clips is so much easier in Vegas. But as far as weaknesses the only one I can relate to is the print-to-tape directly from the timeline and a 3D titler(I use BluffTitler, nice and cheap). I didn’t realize what a great feature the print to tape was on the Canopus Storm(wish I hadn’t sold that card no).
