Sorry for not explaining clearly the objects that make up the screens have rounded corners the frames are separate objects and dont have any composting tags

what i want to do is make the corners of the masks rounded so when i add the video file to be displayed on the screen it matches the screen

I have done similar projects to this only on a smaller scale i always render them as picture sequences then assemble them in quick time, i identified that the problem is coming from the three layers that have alpha mattes and rendered one as a video instead of a image sequence and that cleared things up im now rendering the others as videos to see if that solves the problem in the entire project

The way i went about setting up the composition was to animate each layer separately so i have each layer except the background has a alpha layer i rendered each as a picture sequence then put them together using quicktime pro i then put each video into the composition and used each layers track matte using the luma setting

the ghosting doesn’t show up when using the alpha setting thats why i assumed the layers were interacting with each other in a
weird way

surely its an issue with after effects since nothing shows up into all the clips are in after effects

when i drag the mask it either takes the whole mask or reszies a part of the mask

i need the same mask on the other side

all i had to do was rotate the H rotation of the objects to 0 for some reason it was set to -90
