Im having a issue with a composition im putting together a shot in Cinema 4D that has alot of charcters in, so ive done it in layers but take a look at the rendered video below and you’ll see flickering and ghost images, ive checked the render of each layer both the image and the alpha layer frame by frame and there is nothing out of place and it only happens when the layers are in the same composition

    https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=wpYFHPe5vNY

Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and how i can fix it?

    Thanks

    Andrew

I see. you mean in Cinema 4d all is fine but in Ae it messes it up? please share a screenshot of your full Ae interface with the maxon cineware effect in the effects controls in full view so we may look at your settings.

The way i went about setting up the composition was to animate each layer separately so i have each layer except the background has a alpha layer i rendered each as a picture sequence then put them together using quicktime pro i then put each video into the composition and used each layers track matte using the luma setting

the ghosting doesn’t show up when using the alpha setting thats why i assumed the layers were interacting with each other in a
    weird way
