  • Yeah I thought the same actually or that it was a location on the drive with a funky naming convention (symbols &$* etc) but it seems to be with multiple different projects and drives I am trying to work off of and render to.

BMD suggested to roll back to 9.1.3 and the problem disappears.

Anyways, thanks for the response paul.

  • anyone else having crashes with 9.1.4 when rendering and/or selecting location to render to?

I rolled back to 9.1.3 and the problem went away.

I believe these might be the latest LUT’s for F55/65 but maybe someone else can confirm?

    https://community.sony.com/t5/F5-F55/NEW-3D-LUT-s-for-F55-and-F65/td-p/135617

If anyone can share LUT’s for other Sony cameras (i.e. F3) please do so if you get a sec.

    Thanks

Yup sounds like the card for you then! Unless you render beyond 1080 ever…then you should get the 4GB version which wont have the boot screen BUT especially in Resolve10 will be important to have that extra RAM on the card…i suggest you ‘future proof’ your box by getting the 4GB if you don’t mind losing boot screen.

Yeah maybe I am not understanding you here but this seems to not be what i meant. I create a new project, go into settings and choose what i want but if i don’t save and quit its 24 instead of 23.98…still!

Yes it would be helpful if someone pointed us to the LUT’s and then I am also curious if they are meant to be used in 1D or 3D part of Resolve’s LUT folders. I did a little quick google search but I dont think these are the correct LUT’s Juan, maybe you could link us to these new LUT’s??

Also, what about the F3 – up till now I have just used my own s-curve as a starting point but I would love to at least checkout any LUT’s made for that Sony camera as well.

    Thank you

If you have access to fcp7 you can try ‘washing’ it through that, it worked for me and now I always bring PrP xml thru that procedure.

Just import that xml you created in PrP have a quick look at what data comes thru and then export back out from fcp and into Resolve with the standard settings (before you started trying different sizing etc).

    Hope that helps.

  • sounds like media managed shots so just adjust the naming convention to be simply .mov and it should show up now in resolve after refreshing the directory.

I just noticed the same today also after those updates were done on my system…pretty basic dynamics with three keyframe animating a shape so it seems like a bug to me.

Is anyone else noticing strange behavior with dynamics after the latest updates?
