Thanks for the response guys. I tried sorenson and I can’t seem to get to look acceptable. I just made a DVD from the mpeg files in sonic and it looks good there. Then I’ll capture from a dvd player. It seems like the long way around the barn but it works.

Yes I tried that. It is not working. Is it possible that I need to be in a different edit mode or something? It it a bug? This should be really simple, right?

Thanks maverick. I made a simple lower third using Marquee. What is your opinion of it? The lower third I made just slides in from left to right, its ok but I have definitly done better in AE. Problem is I don’t have AE install yet at work.
