After a lot testing i have made custum presets to get the look i want. In the default setting this camera is terrible.
So my advice to everybody is to put together CP’s first and than start filming. I also find that the zebra and waveform are things you cannot do without with this camera.
When i got this camera i had no time to test it, and had to use it rightaway. I was not very happy with the results from that day, but now i feel convident that in the future my footage will look great. -
If you do not trust it, do not use it..
It happens to me a lot that people sent me their videos with copyright music in it. Unless they have a legal document wich shows me that they have paid for the rights or that they are the legal owner, i replace it with royalty free music that i have. If they have the rights for the music they have to give me a copy wich i keep in my archive. Mostly they do not have that.
Sure, the sweetest thing from U2 sounds nice under a romantic scene, but i surely don’t want Bono on my neck -

Now i’m already done with this project i will tell you what i’ve done. I used an old mac with an old version of fcp on it to encode all the SD files to prores and mpegstreamclip for the HD mpeg2 files.
I like ppro because i can import almost everything. In fcp i have to convert everything. I’m not complaining, i’m switching back to ppro.
I’ve been working for two months with cs5 now and it is really good.

Fcp? No thanks. Used it, but don’t like it. premiere works so much easier and therefor faster.

Thanks for your help Tim. You are right i missed cs3 and cs4. I upgraded from cs2 to cs5. I knew premiere on the mac would mis some effects and transitions (never use transitions by the way), but i did not know adobe has eliminated some effects after cs2.
Cs5 works great by the way and i’m happy with my choice to update my old cs2.

Thanks Todd, but i already tried that. I do not get the same effect i’m looking for. I’ll try in after effects to make something new.
