[msacci] “trying to make their product better”

I do not know how the unit looked at the beginning… maybe now it is better then before but I just bought it and really surprised how such thing can cost more then 2000 euro. Yes I know that it is something which allow me to record my HD directly to disk and much longer then P2 card. I am talking about the quality of the construction and material. It looks like cheap china toy.

    – screen on my FS100 is little rotated contraclockwise and shifted up that I can not see whole first line but only half of it. letters and digits on the display is like from the horror movie. even cheapest mp3 players have much better design of the menu and font.
    – Front plastic panel is not presizely lying on the device body and if i look from the side it is like wave. I can imagine how much dirt and dust i will get there on the field.
    – Battery compartment is like somebody made it just with knife.
    – Also I heard that camera mount is horrible and glad i did not buy it.

Again I would like to say that I am suttisfied with how it works but badly frustrated with the look of it and quality of construction. For more then 2000 euro i was expecting something more aesthetic.

Walter and Braker, thank you very much and sorry to disturb with such question. Somehow I missed it in the help and tutorial. Also for me not native english speaking guy it is sometimes difficult to search if I do not have idea how to spell the problem key word.

Thanks again, now it clear and you saved me from the headache,

whole my idea to shoot HD is to get real full frame and high quality picture. now i cant accept that i have to convert my footage and loose quality.

also Panasonic has to give us, mac users, somekind of P2 manager/viewer.
